Responsibilities
- Coordinating the project stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle on all design matters.
- Acting as the single point of contact on behalf of the Employer for any communication with the design consultants.
- Facilitating and managing design coordination, design review and value engineering meetings.
- Monitoring design compliance with health and safety regulations, building codes, environmental legislation and quality standards set by the Employer.
- Administering and organising design, technical, permits and local authorities’ documentation.
- Monitoring and checking the interface between the infrastructure and building designs.
- Liaising with the local authorities and monitoring the process of statutory and technical approvals.
- Reviewing, evaluating, and coordinating design changes arising from project stakeholders’ requests.
- Coordinating with the project management team and support the procurement process, the preparation of time schedules, project budgets and reports.
- Holding regular meetings and preparing reports to update the Project Management Team on design coordination, value engineering, permitting and change management status.
Requirement / Qualifications
- BSc in Architecture or Civil Engineering.
- Degree or Professional Qualification in Project Management will be considered as an advantage.
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Well-rounded design experience, competent user of design software.
- Membership to the Cyprus Scientific & Mechanical Chamber Members (ETEK).
